FPL SquadPilot is published by baliddeki. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version
FPL SquadPilot has no accounts and no sign-in, and we run no servers of our own.
The app collects anonymous usage information to help us improve it, and shows adverts to people who have not bought premium.
If you are in the UK, the EU, the EEA or Switzerland, nothing is collected until you agree, through a consent form shown when you first open the app. Elsewhere, anonymous usage collection is on by default and you can switch it off at any time in Settings → Your data choices.
Adverts are part of the free app rather than something you switch on or off. Premium removes them.
We never collect your FPL team, your leagues, your rank, your name or your email, whichever choices you make.
What is collected, and by whom
Usage analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)
Counts which screens you open and which features you use, so we can see what to improve and what nobody uses.
What it receives: an app-instance identifier generated on your device, the names of screens you open, the names of a fixed list of in-app events, your app version, your operating system version, your device model, and an approximate region worked out from your IP address.
It does not receive your team, your league, your rank, or any name.
Anonymous session replay (Microsoft Clarity)
Records how the app is used — taps, scrolls, which screens follow which — so we can find where the app is confusing.
Recordings are masked. Before anything is recorded, the app hides your team name, your manager name, your league names and the names of your rivals, so they cannot be read in a replay. This masking is built into the app itself, not just configured on Microsoft's side.
What it receives: masked recordings and heatmaps, your device model, operating system, screen size, and identifiers Clarity generates for the session.
Banner adverts (Google AdMob)
Shows one small banner above the tabs. Premium removes adverts entirely. This is not an option you turn on — it is how the free app is paid for.
Adverts are never personalised. We do not build a profile of you, we do not use your advertising identifier for analytics, and nothing is linked with data from other apps or websites to target you. On iPhone and iPad this is why the app never shows the "Allow app to track" prompt — there is nothing to track.
What it receives: your device's advertising identifier, your IP address, your device and operating system, and whether an advert was seen or tapped.
If you say no, or switch it off
No analytics event is sent and no session is recorded. Every feature of the app keeps working — nothing is withheld for declining, and you are not asked again.
Turning something off stops it immediately. Turning analytics off also resets the analytics identifier, so the record tying your past events together is discarded.
In the UK, EU, EEA and Switzerland you can reopen the advertising consent form at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options.
What the app stores on your device

All of these are held in the operating system's standard local preference store. None is transmitted to us. You can erase all of them at any time from Settings → Delete my local data, which also clears your data choices.
Your FPL team ID is a public identifier, not a credential. FPL SquadPilot never asks for your Fantasy Premier League email address, password, or session, and cannot make changes to your FPL team.
What the app sends over the network
Always, because it is how the app works: requests to public, read-only
endpoints on https://fantasy.premierleague.com. These include
your team ID when you have connected one, because that is how the public
API returns your squad and league tables. They contain no other information
about you.
The Premier League operates those servers and its own privacy practices apply to them. We have no control over, and no access to, their logs.
Only with your permission: the data described above, to Google and Microsoft.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors above.
Your rights, and our lawful basis
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, our lawful basis for analytics, session replay and advertising is your consent, which you give in the app and can withdraw at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and costs you nothing but the adverts it removes.
You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold no accounts and no server-side records, the practical route is: switch the feature off, and use Delete my local data. What the app still does not do
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no personalised adverts.
- No location permission, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
- No accounts, so there is no profile to delete on our side.
- No selling of data to anyone, ever.
Subscriptions
FPL SquadPilot offers optional paid features via Apple's App Store and Google Play's in-app billing. Payment is handled entirely by Apple/Google; we never see or store your payment details. Subscription management, cancellation, and refunds are handled through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Children
FPL SquadPilot is not directed at children under 13. The app is rated for a 13+ audience and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same URL, with a new "last updated" date.
